Kerris was born and raised in Kelowna. She attended the Centre of Arts and Technology and received her VHA (Veterinary Hospital Assistant) diploma in June of 2023. Her passion stems from the constant stream of animals throughout her upbringing. These animals would vary in species and size including dogs, cats, and hamsters to more exotic animals such as chinchillas, reptiles, birds, and ponies. In her current household, Kerris’ attention is primarily taken up by the family dog, Miller. He is a goofy , 88-pound golden lab riled with energy despite his increasing age.
