Born and raised in Glasgow Scotland, Dr. Dawn Coldwell has always had a deep love of animals. She attended the University of Glasgow for vet school, graduating in 2003.    Dawn moved the Okanagan in 2005 and has called this beautiful part of the world home ever since. Dawn is always a friendly face at the clinic. She is passionate about all areas of Veterinary medicine, with a special interest in geriatric medicine and pain management. Her heartfelt goal is to make sure all pets, especially our seniors, are as comfortable as possible. Dawn has a love of soft tissue surgery and looks forward to her time in the OR. 

Outside of work, she spends summers with her family by the lake or hiking the mountains with her dog Lava. When winter comes, you’ll find her snowboarding or snow shoeing at Big White. She has an adventurous spirit and loves to travel. Dawn enjoys multi day hiking adventures, learning about other countries, their scenery, culture and cuisine.
